Julie Gwyther's Bio
Acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist, Julie Gwyther is dedicated to broadening the audience of acupuncture by providing community education and outreach events. Being a native of Argentina, her Spanish skills have also helped broaden the scope of patients that can be helped by acupuncture.
Helping guide each patient towards better health through individualized, compassionate care is her goal.Julie is passionate about treating women’s health conditions and pediatrics. Julie volunteered at a non-profit women’s healthcare clinic in Arizona where practitioners of varying modalities, including acupuncture, provided discounted services for women in need. Julie participates in fundraising for an emerging non-profit dedicated to providing acupuncture to citizens who have experienced natural disasters in their areas and veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan.Julie graduated from the Southwest Acupuncture College, one of the leading schools in its field, with a Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine. She is an nationally certified acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist. In addition to her schooling, Julie completed a one year private internship in an Oriental medicine clinic.
